What is The Gathering? The one-day retreat for female founders who have magic in their bones. These women who don't just start businesses to make some sales - they're the ones unapologetically making wealth, visibility and impact their new realities. They're the ones who did not come from wealth, but are re-writing generational stories and going after the things the women before them couldn't have. The ones who will leave an indelible mark on the world. The ones looking to be known, seen and paid not just for the quality of their work, but the way it leads their industries and changes lives.
Where & When: Friday, February 13, 2026. Oxford.
Why? Oxford is the birthplace of incredible ideas that have changed the course of history. It's the City of Dreaming Spires, where some of the world's greatest minds have created famous works of art and literature, made scientific discoveries. Oxford is also a city with big pockets of deprivation. A city with two sides. A city where, when I became the first female (working class) editor of the local newspapers, it set the cat amongst the pigeons. To host an event like this in Oxford for women that centuries, and even decades ago, would not have been allowed to happen doesn't just feel like justice - it feels like revolution.
In pre-patriarchal and pagan traditions, the number 13 was linked to the number of lunar and menstrual cycles, making it a symbol of fertility and the divine feminine, and Friday was considered a day to honour the goddess Venus. I can't think of a better day to take our power back.
